Description
Neutzer DownHill Competition on 10.10.2009 in Targu Mures, Romania.
It was a very intense competition that was held in the the heart of a local woods, we had some really nice race tracks with high difficulties, and by this we had a lot if injuries, the most severe one was when the amateurs were given head start like 10 minutes and after them the pro's, they've managed to catch-up with the amateurs and one guy stopped in front of a bump and the other came by speed and had to avoid the other competitor and he took a tree frontally with his rips, he had 3 rips broken that were pushing into his lungs, he almost died of internal bleeding. Otherwise the special downhill track was a really provocative one, the pro's have done it by 1 min. 43 sec. while the not so pros in 2 min. 34 sec.
This photo was made on a jump trail, it was the second round of the competition, these guys weren't signed into the main downhill course.
I used here the 17-40L with off camera flash.
**NOTE:
- no artificial blurs or lines added, only the colors and the contrast were boosted a little.
